In the many definitions of Sustainable Development we share the same evidence - we must adjust our behaviour to enjoy our planet indefinitely as human specie. We all have a broad sense of what should be done to pass on to our children a legacy that will not tarnish our memory.

A few Sustainable Development vital signs can track the complexity of the real world. Let them become the beacons of success in everyone's mind. They must be "actionable" and scientifically valid. They must have the same meaning from the global realm to the individual household by way of communities and business enterprises.

Industry has a very important part to play in the protection of the environment.

Clear Sustainability targets stimulate innovation. The entrepreneurs with vision will take the lead to invent the solutions that will get us from here to the objectives. They will do so because they speculate on the financial value and the competitive advantage that lie in the objectives.

Sustainable Development is a formidable and necessary project. We have yet to make it a desirable design assignment with simple and motivating indicators of success. We can do Sustainable Development, if we share the dream.
